Dined in the alley bell atmosphere very nice and friendly staff. Service on time correct. Started with round of good appetizers. Continued with a good but not plentiful first course. Good dessert as well.

Came for lunch. We ordered as many as 4 first courses, including an agnolotto, which was very good and recommended, as it is also a traditional dish of the area. After the first courses we had 4 desserts, which were very good. Very fair value for money, clean and cozy place, and friendly and fast staff.

You must go to this venue - you will be nothing but surprised in a positive way! It is a family-run restaurant that has in it the 'welcome, knowing how to be well together sharing healthy and good food and above all, in the utmost respect and remembrance of Franca (Frankina for the people who 'knew her and who could not love her - her unforgettable smile).

Sunday lunch. I don't give the 5 stars because the second one arrived cold. Everything was excellent, the first courses of the day, the veal and lamb for second, the service impeccable. The atmosphere is relaxed and informal. Highly recommended.

If you pass through Asti, you can't miss it Or go to Asti specifically to dine at this place, because it is really worth it. The welcome is warm, the atmosphere is bubbly but at the same time quiet. The dishes are great: the tartare with salted hazelnut caramel and robiola cheese is great, but the soft egg with fondue , turnip greens and crispy kataifi is space! If you also love chocolate, you can't miss the Rochèr. More than fair prices. Go there!

The perfect mix of tradition and innovation

The essence of Il Cavolo A Merenda is encapsulated in its name

"We are like Cabbages at Lunchtime,'' an expression that in our 13-year history we have always.conveyed through our dishes. The name of the restaurant derives precisely from the predisposition of Mario, to propose and juxtapose typical Piedmontese dishes with Mediterranean recipes that go beyond national borders, which, at a first reading of the menu, "center like cabbages in a snack."

From the great traditional classics to the real "Cabbage" dishes, the most hilarious and peculiar ones with combinations you don`t expect!
